    Kohvik Fellin

Bucket List item #747 – eat @ Kohvik Fellin Viljandi, Estonia If you’ve ever asked me what my favorite country to visit would be, the answer is always Estonia for a myriad of reasons. The people are friendly, the cities are pristine, the art scene is thriving, the countryside is beautiful, there aren’t many tourists and the culinary scene is inspired. I can’t say that I’ve experienced many food scenes like Estonia. When you visit France or Italy you have a similar experience in that the food seems to be delicious no matter where you go. You don’t need to plan a meal; you just know the food will be…

    Triglav National Park

Bucket List item #683 – Triglav National Park, Slovenia Triglav National Park is endless adventure. Honestly, I wish we could have given ourselves more time in the park. I wish we had got a hotel there and stayed a while instead of a jam-packed day of exploring. Of course, there are so many places to see and things to do when you’re traveling, but I think the area deserved more of our time than we gave it and we missed a lot. Triglav reminded me a lot of driving through Rocky Mountain National Park. I think a loop all the way through would be fairly similar time-wise and the sort…

    Crawlers

Is there anything more elegant than a nice set of crawler earrings? As an early birthday present, my mom bought me this pair of Joanna Laura Constantine crawlers and I can’t get enough of them. They look beautiful with everything. The particular pair is no longer available to purchase, but you can rent them from Rent the Runway and just buy them if you end up loving them. That’s what we did. I told my mom how much I loved my rental and boom! Best mom ever! I tell people to do this all the time. I’m not sure if anything every does. Lol. Anyway, I love how a nice…

    Plaid is a Staple

As far as I’m concerned, plaid is a wardrobe staple. I know your typical list goes something like this: black blazer, skinny jeans, white tee, tan wrap coat, etc. While I agree with the general list of wardrobe staples, I think plaid is one of the things it often misses. I feel like the internet is flooded with style blogs that prescribe a list of wardrobe pieces that instantly elevate your look, and I’m continually surprised in some of the gaps. Then, when you do find a plaid item on said list, it’s just a button down. Ugh! Here are my thoughts. Do you have a plaid coat? If you…

The Best Witch Tour in the World

Bucket List item 631 – Upper Town Witches Tour Zagreb, Croatia Every bucket list check is absolutely unique. Some of are flops, some are great, some are memorable, and every once in a while it’s once in a lifetime epic. The Gornjogradske Coprnice witch tour was exactly that. When Dave and I reminisce on past travels, this is one of those memories that just keeps giving. It’s easily in our top five list of coolest shit we’ve ever experienced. I’ll bet you’re wondering how a historical tour about witches could be such a show-stopper when we’ve done so many things, which is totally fair. I think the answer is a…
