Milon Bangladesh
Bucket List Item #1621 eat @ Milon Bangladesh New York, USA Long before moving to New York City, a little restaurant called Milon Bangladesh made it to my bucket list. It’s an iconic NYC Indian cuisine staple bursting at the seams with twinkle lights. It comes up over and over again in NYC bucket list blogs or lists of things you need to do in the city. Well, it comes up about half the time. You see, when I put this restaurant on my bucket list, I had no idea of the history behind it or the decades old rivalry between Milon and Panna II. I don’t think I even…
Naschmarkt
Bucket List item #761 – Naschmarkt Vienna, Austria The Naschmarkt in Vienna is really just a flea market. Mind you, it’s a very impressive flea market with over 400 vendors. There’s food, household goods, music, literature, antiques and so much more. When you’re walking through the stalls, it just seems endless. Pair that with the fact that you’re in Vienna and you’re surrounding by that pristine nouveau architecture and it makes for a pretty dreamy day. I feel terrible about this post because I don’t have any quality pictures to share from this check. As most of you know, I started this blog far after I’d done a lot…
Shein Haul Update
It’s two weeks later, so I’m here for an update on my Shein haul! I’ve worn most of the pieces I purchased and want to give an update on my initial thoughts. If you missed my YouTube video, watch below. There are a few items I did not include due to fit or quality issues. For reference, I am a size 12/14 (I ordered size 14 everything) and size 9 wide feet. Skinny Belts – The specific ones I had are no longer available. These are the same, but different colors. – $4 http://shrsl.com/1gpdf I chose not to wear these because they were just a bit too small…
La Degustation
Bucket List Item #753 – eat @ La Degustation Prague, Czech Republic Dear La Degustation, I have to thank you for broadening my horizons. You made me like cauliflower. Sincerely yours, always and forever, Lynzi Seriously though, I’m pretty sure I still hate cauliflower unless La Degustation makes it. I’ve been continually attempting to eat cauliflower since this day and it always sucks. I keep ordering it at nice restaurants and moments later wanting to slap a chef. I once ordered a cauliflower foam soup from a Bib Gourmand restaurant in Vienna that was appalling. I wanted to grab them by the ear and drag them across the border…
Playing Dress-Up
I LOVE to play dress up. I can confidently say I’ve been playing dress up now for 30+ years. Achievement unlocked! However, I have to admit that it’s been many years since I had a proper playtime set-up. I mean, I have a closet and all, but I haven’t had a vanity in my adult life or fun storage. I think the best time for make believe in my life to date was from the ages of maybe 3-6. I can’t remember my exact age, but in this span of years I received the ultimate gift. There’s some space under some built in cabinets in my mother’s dining room.…
