Hacienda Sydney
Bucket list item #2036 – have a drink at Hacienda
Sydney, Australia
So, what is Hacienda? Hacienda is a bar and restaurant inside Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour. It’s inspired by 1950’s Miami and boasts some beautiful views of the Sydney Harbour. The views are great and all, but I was here for the drinks. I did some research on the best places for a drink in Sydney, and Hacienda came up over and over and over.
Well, I have to say mission accomplished, which is a tall order for Dave and I because we are picky about our mixed beverages. We can be such snobs sometimes. I can’t say that I’m proud of our snobbery, but we are damn good at snuffing out those bomb cocktails.
According to Dave, Hacienda had the best Old Fashioned he had the entire time we were in Sydney. I wouldn’t know because bourbon is ick. I can say that I had a varied set of drinks that were in the fruity variety and they were all delicious. I can also agree that these were the best drinks we had in Sydney and the bartender had their game face on that day because damn. Delicious!
However, the drinks aren’t the only reason to go here. Check out the décor! Boo yah, it’s pretty as shit. AND we went at a weird time (around 3pm) and the place was almost empty. We got the best seats in the house.
So, if you’re ever in Sydney this is definitely on the list of recommended joint if you want to surround yourself with lovely and yummy things.
