I know most of you have already seen a number of these pieces via my OOTD posts, but I really wanted to go over every piece from my recent H&M haul because this was easily one of the best hauls I’ve ever had. Every piece I got was perfection. As a plus-size woman, I was in shock and awe because this so rarely happens. My word, everything fits! And no weird gapping or hip hugging or any myriad of things you can typically deal with. Just lots of great fitting clothes!
Side note: I’m wearing a size 14 in everything or XL.
Puff-Sleeve Dress: 8/10
I would have given a 10/10 for cuteness alone, but I had a tiny issue: the shoulders were a wee bit tight. It’s a really strange place to have a little fit problem, but I really mean wee. You don’t feel it or see it, but I required a husband to lift it over my shoulders like a child. If you don’t have a significant other or a roommate this may not be the dress for you.
I paired it with some Shein earrings and purse, which I have included below. The earrings are sold out, but they’ve restocked multiple times, so bookmark them if you love them. And the purse is a staple of mine, so I’m sure you’ve seen it numerous times.
Polka Dot Jumpsuit: 9/10
This jumpsuit was super thin, yet somehow not see through. I managed to go braless and that was a major plus. This would be great for warm weather. Also, the fit was really nice, which is a serious problem for a lot of plus jumpsuits. It’s hard to find ones that fit well, so this is major. It only lost a point because I can’t give everything a perfect score! I’m saving that for the truly remarkable finds.
Red Blouse: 9/10
Ooooo this blouse is flirty! I feel like I want to be on a tropical vacation in this one. The fit was perfect, and I personally think is looks great sans bra, so yay!
Red Pants: 10/10
These are fucking dope! I actually think they look better in my OOTD post because you can see me standing in them. Click here to see what I mean. These move like a dream and fit PERFECTLY. They’re so well made for fast fashion. I think these look designer, so they deserve high marks.
Beige Pumps: 8/10
These are an amazing staple to any wardrobe, so I highly recommend. They also are very comfortable to walk in, so zero problems. Minus two points only because they do run a little small to me, so you might need a half size up. However, they are great for wide feet.
I paired this look with some Kenneth Jay Lane earrings (they’re sold out, but you can still rent to purchase via Rent the Runway) and a vintage belt, of which I found some beautiful alternates!
Lyocell shirt: 8/10
This is mad comfortable, and the material is soooo breathable, but it’s a bit sheer. I wore a nude bra with it and you could still see through it because the colors didn’t match perfectly. I don’t really mind that, but I think some might.
Cream Pants: 10/10
Wooo hooo these are fucking cute! They are great for work or a casual look depending on how you pair it and they’re wicked comfortable. They look damn fancy and I approve.
Leopard Heels: 10/10
I love me some comfy heels and these fit the bill. I wore these for a date night the other day and was legit trotting in them. Naaaay!
Cream Blouse: 7/10
Ok, I still love this blouse, but it had a little fit issue: the material bunched a bit when you started to move. It gathered right above my boobs. I would still recommend this though because I think the problem would be totally solved if you just sized up. I was just a little too busty for this.
Lyocell shorts: 9/10
Man, these are darn cute. The high waist and the cut made my legs look so long. I loved it!
I paired this look with a Zac Zac Posen bag, which is currently 50% off! This also includes the previously mentioned beige pumps.
