It’s about time for another Shein haul! Woo hoo! These bad boys are becoming a bit of a tradition for me. I really, truly love discovering good budget finds and I’m willing to put in the leg work. Well kids, it took some serious leg work this time because this haul had some ups and downs. With the truly amazing came the absolutely terrible. This haul was a mixed bag. So, without further ado, let me take you step by step through my recent Shein purchase.
Also, a gentle reminder before shopping Shein, everything is returnable for free aside from lingerie, bodysuits, socks, hair accessories and jewelry.
I bought a bunch of new earrings that I meant specifically as something fun and new to wear for NYFW. I loved every single pair I bought and I’m basically rotating this bunch and wearing them all on a constant repeat. If I had to pick one favorite pair of the group it’s…actually, let’s say TWO favorites because I seriously can’t narrow it down. 1) I love the face earrings! As you all know, this earring type is basically a go to for me now and I have multiple pairs of face earrings, but these are really special because of the size. They’re perfect! 2) The painting earrings are just so beautiful and unique and they look straight off the runway. I just love a good statement earring!
Colorful Snakeskin Shoes: 10/10
These shoes are the bees knees! I wore them to NYFW on my busiest day where I was running all over town on foot (because your girl can’t afford Ubers) and my feet were legit ok. Seriously, they were the most comfortable shoes I wore during fashion week and they were so nice to my feet. If you look at the product link you’ll see the shape of the soles and the cushioning. These are a serious steal!

Leopard Print Set: 10/10
The matching set was compliment city at fashion week and another legit comfy find. Plus, I’m sure you have already become acquainted with this set because of the sheer volume of times I’ve worn the pieces separately. They are great everyday pieces. I also love the moderate shoulder pads in the jacket which give you a little shape without going totally 80s.

Beige Coat: 5/10
Ok, I have to admit that I’m a bit confused on how to rate this one. When you look at this coat in a photo or just see it from the outside, you’ll love it. However, the inside is not lined, which makes it feel super cheap. It’s like they made half a coat, so we’re giving it half the points. If it was lined it would be a 10. If you only care about looks it’s fine, but I just can’t handle the cheap finish inside.
Off-white Top: 8/10
From this photo this looks super basic, but check out the product image to see the adorable cut on the neckline and sleeve. It’s a really solid little top!
Beige Skirt: 5/10
I’m giving this a 5 because I’m honestly a little unsure. I really didn’t love this for me. There was a lot of gapping at the buttons for me, so it looked cheap. However, this could be a fit issue. I would normally say Shein runs true to size and occasionally runs large, so I was surprised. This was my first time feeling like an item I got from them was snug on me. Mad props to them because they’re usually so consistent. It makes me think it’s the cut of the skirt rather than the sizing, but I can’t know for sure as I didn’t try a size up.
Also, here are the other pieces I wore for this look. As I’m sure you know, this set of headbands is a favorite of mine and these Restricted shoes have been a staple for ages. The belt is super old and no longer available.
Green Sparkle Dress: 10/10
Wow, this is literally the world’s most perfect Christmas dress. The color is exactly Christmas green and the sparkles make this party perfect. It fit like a glove and was absolutely stunning. I do have to give you fair warning that this dress is a straight up rip off of an Eloquii dress that is out this season. I didn’t know it at the time I bought this dress, but I saw it on the racks at fashion week. I have mixed feelings about it now. I love this dress and the price point, but hate that they straight up copied the original. They look so similar!
The shoes are a staple of mine from H&M and are still available! They are also worn in the next photo.
Navy and Pink Dress: 8/10
I was really unconvinced by this dress when I first opened the package, but like so many clothes in the world, it just needed a really good steaming. The material of this dress is super thin and reminiscent of a parachute, which on first glance I didn’t like, but the comfort and general twirliness won me over. It’s actually a really pretty dress!
Red Plaid Coat: 10/10
I initially wanted to give this less points because the finish on the inside is a bit cheap, but since first wearing this I’ve worn this coat over and over and just love it. It’s the perfect temperature level for me on a fall day and the vibe is right for the season. I find myself throwing it around my shoulders on the way out the door continually.
Black Pants: 3/10
Guys, these are like cheap box Halloween costume material with a Peter Pan cut on the ankle. Just no.
Sadly, all the other pieces I’m wearing are old and are sold out, but here are some awesome alternates for each piece.
(unpictured) Black Tube Top: ???
Feel free to laugh at me right now, but I actually couldn’t figure out how to wear this tube top and legit sent it back without ever even trying it on. So embarrassing.
