This is probably one of my favorite outfits I’ve worn this fall. I love this prep upstate New York vibe. It’s really been my happy place this season as I’ve embraced living in the Hudson Valley and it has hella suited me.
We begin with my favorite headband set. I can’t say enough good things about these. It’s only $12.99 for a set of four and the colors are literally perfect for fall and winter. Lots of deep tones with the velvet…fabulous!
Of course, my favorite $2 earrings. Honestly, you would think a pair of $2 earrings would last only a few wears, but I wear these multiple times a week and they’re in perfect condition. I don’t know how Shein does it with jewelry. Their jewelry is always my favorite.
I’m not going to lie, this Sea New York sweater is a major splurge. I can’t afford it, which is why I rented it. Thank goodness for Rent the Runway! I’m including links to both buy and rent. If you can afford this, I fully back you. This isn’t the softest sweater in the world, but it’s warm. It’s meant for cold weather and is beautifully made.
My gecko ring is a piece I bought in Chinatown in San Francisco many years ago, but I found some similar options on Etsy. If you really love geckos, then this one’s for you!
These Shein pants have surprisingly turned into a staple for me. When I bought them I really didn’t think I would wear them as often as I do, but they’re so dang comfortable and I’ve really loved this color story for fall. They’re the gift that keeps giving!
This faux leather purse was a recent purchase since going vegetarian. I’m not purchasing any new leather products. It’s been a very easy catchall and looks nice, although it does feel more like plastic than leather. I mean, who cares though? At least I’m not carrying around a dead animal.
These Restricted oxfords are some of my favorite shoes I’ve ever owned and I’ve had them for about five years. Shockingly they’re still in production! I will warn that there is leather in the sole (I’m not going to punish my old shoes now that I’ve gone veg). If you aren’t opposed to leather, they are a very sturdy shoes. I wear them often in the fall and winter and they’ve lasted so long!
