    $50 Outfit

You may have already seen this dress on my recent Shein haul blog, but this is honestly a better photo if you want to see the dress in all its glory. This dress really moves like a dream! Like I said before, I was really unconvinced pulling it out of the packaging, but this really took me by surprise. It’s a damn pretty dress! I paired this with these funky pearl earrings, also from Shein, of which I can seem to match with anything. I wear them a lot! Plus, the most stapley of the staple items, these beige heels. They’re comfy and the heels are super thick, so you…

    Giddy in Gingham

When I wore this outfit the first thing that came to mind was how on earth am I going to find replacements for this dress. I bought it from Zara back in 2015! Well, I was super wrong because I was browsing at Shein the other day and noticed a lot of gingham. When I decided to just look at gingham in general, I found a red gingham dress so familiar that I was in shock. It’s the very first one below and it is soooo similar! Plus, they have some really cute other pieces in gingham. It was a gingham paradise. Are you sick of me saying gingham yet?…

    Bohemian Belle Dress

Happy hump day! This post contains affiliate links. Click to read my full disclaimer. We’re kicking off this look with this metal flower headband, which is only $3! I have to admit that it’s a bit uncomfortable for me, but I also have a big noggin. I have trouble buying hats for this same reason. However, it doesn’t keep me from wearing this because it’s so cute! My earrings are so old and I have literally no idea where they came from. So, I found a bunch of various gold earrings on Shein that I wish were in my vanity right meow. The antler necklace is an Etsy find from…

    Magnolia Plantation

Bucket list item #976 – Magnolia Plantation Charleston, South Carolina, USA I remember when I was working on an itinerary for our anniversary last year, I told Dave one day we were slated to spend the entire day at Magnolia Plantation. He looked at me like I was a crazy person. “We’re spending all day at a plantation. What on earth would we do at a plantation all day?” To which I replied, “Everything, Dave. Everything.” When I say everything, I sincerely feel like I’m not exaggerating. Magnolia Plantation & Gardens seemingly has it all. There’s the plantation itself, lots of gardens (they weren’t really in bloom while we were…

    Playing Dress-Up

I LOVE to play dress up. I can confidently say I’ve been playing dress up now for 30+ years. Achievement unlocked!   However, I have to admit that it’s been many years since I had a proper playtime set-up. I mean, I have a closet and all, but I haven’t had a vanity in my adult life or fun storage. I think the best time for make believe in my life to date was from the ages of maybe 3-6. I can’t remember my exact age, but in this span of years I received the ultimate gift. There’s some space under some built in cabinets in my mother’s dining room.…
