10 Books to Read in 2020

You know I love me some book time! Not a day goes by that I don’t start and end my day with a book. So, here are some of my favorite books I read last year that will (hopefully) blow your mind! More Than Enough by Elaine Welteroth This! This damn book! We already know Elaine Welteroth is a powerhouse with her long resume of accomplishments at the age of 33. She was the first African-American woman to be the beauty director of Teen Vogue and then the youngest ever editor-in-chief of Teen Vogue at age 29. NYFW Outfit 2

My favorite look of fashion week! It also got shared by a blog I love on IG and photographed, so I would say this is my most successful outfit of fashion week. It would be a challenge to find an outfit these don’t go with. The glasses are Tijn and though I do wear glasses, these are not prescription. I know you can add them though to your order, so it’s worth checking them out if you’re actually a glasses…

Building an Outfit around a Scarf

I almost can’t believe that this entire outfit cost under $300. It amazes me when fast fashion brands so closely imitate designer apparel like this. Wowza! Anyway, I want to chat a little about my newest winter fashion trick, which is quite simple and I’m shocked I haven’t done it previously. It was a revelation that shouldn’t have been one. It should be common knowledge. My new trick: plan an outfit around a scarf. It’s almost embarrassing that this was a monumental discovery for me. SMH. Really, it’s quite brilliant when you want to look colorful, but not overdo the patterns. I found this amazing scarf at ASOS and just…
