    The Ultimate Halloween Sweater Guide

As a Halloween sweater enthusiast, I have learned over the years that there are a few key places to look for Halloween sweaters. Sure, you’ll find some cute options at stores like Kohls, Marshalls, TJMaxx, etc., but if you really want to dazzle this Halloween, there are some retailers you need to get familiar with. There are two stores in particular that I believe to be the holy grail of sweaters, and the first of the two is Unique Vintage. The entire site is currently 20% off with code KBYE, so it’s the perfect time to shop. AND they actually have a lot of their sweaters still in stock or…

    Kitchen Update

I know this is waaaay overdue and I apologize to everyone that has been waiting for this and wanting full links. I’ve finally done it though! I’m linking everything I can in the kitchen, which is quite a lot of it. There are some things I wasn’t able to link. The kitchen cabinets are shaker style from Home Depot. The paint color is by Benjamin Moore, although I’m unsure which color. If anyone is very serious about knowing the exact shade, throw me a comment and I’ll do some better digging to figure it out. The counter tops are quartz and also from Home Depot, as well as the tiling…

    How to Make Spicy Pickles

Ever since Dave and I started to make our own pickles and share about it on Instagram, I’ve had so many people messaging me about how to make them. Guys, it is so easy! Like, the ease will blow your mind. This can be done with store bought cucumbers, of course, but I highly recommend you contemplate your own cucumber plant for next season. They’re really easy to take care of and ours produced soooo much this year. We’ve had way more cucumbers than we needed. The refrigerator is stocked with pickles!  So, here it is in all it’s simple glory. This recipe is my personal favorite, which is for…

    Bartholomew’s Cobble

What exactly is a cobble? God if I know. I tried Googling it before I wrote this blog post and the dictionary only relates this to either a cobbler or a cobblestone. Perhaps this place is named after it’s stones? I have no idea. Anyway, welcome to Bartholomew’s Cobble! I bet you didn’t think I’d be checking anything off my bucket list during covid. To be honest, I didn’t think I would either. Here’s the low down. Dave and I were meant to travel to Maine for our anniversary, which was in early June. We were gutted when we had to cancel our trip. I was so sad about the…

    Lemony Spaghetti

LEMONY SPAGHETTI!!! You heard me right. It’s the better name for spaghetti al limone because it makes me feel like a kid and I just like it better.  I remember when I made this for the first time I told Dave we were making lemony spaghetti and he made fun of me and said that’s not a thing. I couldn’t remember the real name and I couldn’t convince him otherwise. He made fun of me through most of the process and had to eat his words when this dish blew his god damned mind. This shit is delicious. It’s addictive. And unlike many pasta dishes that are heavy on cream…
