La Degustation
Bucket List Item #753 – eat @ La Degustation Prague, Czech Republic Dear La Degustation, I have to thank you for broadening my horizons. You made me like cauliflower. Sincerely yours, always and forever, Lynzi Seriously though, I’m pretty sure I still hate cauliflower unless La Degustation makes it. I’ve been continually attempting to eat cauliflower since this day and it always sucks. I keep ordering it at nice restaurants and moments later wanting to slap a chef. I once ordered a cauliflower foam soup from a Bib Gourmand restaurant in Vienna that was appalling. I wanted to grab them by the ear and drag them across the border…
Lennon Wall
Bucket List item #752 – Lennon Wall Prague, Czech Republic Hidden down a back alley, tucked quietly away from the bustle of Malá Strana, lives a small section of wall that stands for something big. Following the assassination of John Lennon, an unknown artist painted a single portrait on a forgotten section of wall. So, if you’ve played tourist in Prague and you’ve actually been to this slice of literal perfection please tell me what you thought in the comments. I was doing a photo shoot one day and had planned to shoot in a public garden in Prague. I…
National Marionette Theater
Bucket List Items #142 National Marionette Theater Prague, Czech Republic I like puppets…a lot. Too much for an adult probably. I blame this on a lack of puppets in my own childhood and watching them in my favorite movies growing up. The number one thing that comes to mind is The Secret Garden. This was also one of my favorite books when I was a child and still is today. I recently read it again and it seems nothing has change in two decades. Anyway, there was this scene in the movie where Mary is entertaining Colin with puppets and a small theater. You know what I mean, right?…
